五十年前，住在水上屋的我，每天清晨看著婆婆忙做燒烤的背影，高掛的月亮與海水互相輝映顯出一片淡淡紫色的天空，也把月亮暈染成紫色。這就是紫月的由來。如今使用婆婆的燒烤秘方加以改良成為現代人的人間美食，不讓婆婆的手藝及秘方失傳於世上，透過紫月美食饗宴，是傳承也是寄情！ 

About 50 years ago, I lived in a house built over water on top of the South China Sea. Every morning, around 4 or 5 am, my grandma busily roasted all kind of meats in her back kitchen.During the full moon period, I remember how the early morning light reflected on the sea from the sky and the moon was purple. And that is inspired our name PurpleMoon. The bistro is in memory of my grandma. Today grandma’s recipes are combined with creative skills and cooking knowledge, to provide one-of-a-kind grilled foods so that grandma’s recipes can be share with the world.
